New Utility Released (BMD2 Plot) Bug Fix Released

We are excited to announce the release of the BMD2 Plot utility. This is a standalone utility to aid the WASP/EFDC modeler in the calibration process. It provides both qualitative (visual inspection) and quantitative (statistical analysis) of model performance. BMD2 Plot provides publication quality output that can be used in modeling reports and presentations.

A training video on how to use this tool is available on the WASP YouTube channel.

New Windows Version Released

Version 8.5 Released Date: October 26, 2025

Windows Version is Released Linux/Ubuntu in process of being built MAC OSX in process of being built

Enhancements:

  • Update Hydrodynamic Linkage and dynamic timestep algoriths when linked with EFDC hydrodynamic model.

  • Added additional phytoplankton light growth functions. Eutrophication model now has the following light growth formulations: Steele, Half Saturation, Smith and Jassby-Platt
